The topics of crime and the Met Police were very high on the agenda for Conservative AMs last week. Susan Hall AM went straight to work listing the extent to which crime in the capital has increased whilst Khan has been the Police and Crime Commissioner. These facts came just after the Mayor refused to heed calls from Shaun Bailey and Emma Best AMs about the need to retain and support the Police cadets in London. On the topic of policing, Thomas Turrell AM got confirmation from the Mayor that there is no formal one-in-one-out policy for establishing Police bases in the Capital, as the Met for London Plan sets out to open new bases where needed.
